Intelli-M Line of Products Helps Dealers Install Simple, Scalable and Secure Systems

Melville, N.Y., September 22, 2009 – ADI announced today the availability of the Intelli-M line of access control products from infinias, LLC. These IP solutions are available at branches across North America, and allow dealers to offer a cost effective access control solution that is easy to install, configure and operate.

The Intelli-M line of products helps dealers provide a simple, scalable and secure access control system. Perfect for new construction and retrofit opportunities, these IP products allow dealers to become Power over Ethernet (PoE) solution providers and install a reliable solution to secure all entry points. The Intelli-M products can support single or multiple door applications, and include the eIDC, Supervisor Plus® and the new Intelli-M Access web based software.

The eIDC is a cutting-edge Ethernet-enabled integrated door controller that lets dealers provide PoE to the door, minimizing the cost of installation by leveraging existing IT infrastructure. Supervisor Plus® is a full-featured, scalable security management software system that integrates access control, alarm monitoring, photo ID badging and digital video. The new Intelli-M Access web-based software provides basic access control and permits users to easily create and manage data, view events and alarms, generate reports, and monitor the status of devices using the simple yet powerful user interface from a web browser. Intelli-M Access can manage multiple locations from anywhere on the network, and can be accessed remotely through a virtual private network (VPN).

“We are proud to work with ADI, and have our simple, scalable and secure systems available at branch locations across North America,” said Wayne Jared, President and CEO of infinias, LLC. “By accessing ADI’s extensive distribution channel, we will be able to provide our IP Access Control products to security dealers throughout the US and Canada.”

“This modular access control solution minimizes custom door wiring to help manage the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) for organizations,” said Stacy Deveraux, senior product manager for access control at ADI. “By adding this technology to our product offering we are helping our dealers grow their business with IP solutions and minimize the TCO for their customers.”
